Potent Items

Achilles Heel Armor: Magic +30 AT20, however any weapon with a negative (stone, wood, bone, bronze) attacks as a positive and the +30 is ineffective against that weapon.

Aiming Hoop: Silver hoop, 30cm in diameter. All missiles shot through it get a +30 bonus.

Boots of the Fire Walker: Can walk through flames with impunity. Casts resist heat on wearer (constant), can immolate 3x day to deliver an A heat crit if wearer hits with MA strikes and crit results.

Boots of Monk Power: Can cast 20pp per day of foot oriented spells from Monks Bridge (p.93).

Camel Spear: Spear with picture of camel etched in the blade. +20 magic spear, 1x day when thrown at least 30 feet will turn into a camel where it lands. Lasts for 12 hours. Camel can be ridden but must be rounded up first.

Catapult of Wall Smashing: 3x day, stones cast from this catapult cast Unstone (p.98)

Coldballs: Little balls of ice, when swallowed explode and do a +100 cold ball attack.

Compass of Finding: Compass points to a described object if it is within 1 mile. Can point to named cities within 1000 miles.

Cowards armor: +30 DB AT-20, lowers OB by 30.

Demon Steed Bridle: 1x day, evil magicians can summon a demon horse and ride it. x2 pp for evil magicians.

Dorundras Mystic Pot: Blue flower pot, when any seed is placed within, a random herb will grow.

Flying Carpet: Can carry 500 lbs. Flys at 500 ft/rnd (35mph).

Ghalinyas Clam Shell: Giant clam shell, provides oxygen for people inside. Can travel underwater 100'/rnd, controlled mentally by owner. AT-12, DB 20, 300 hp. Has small portholes.

Glasses of Darkness: 3x day casts Darkness (p.94). Wearer is immune and can see normally.

Hammer of the Luddites: wooden handle with stone head. +20, of slaying constructs.

Jandruks Amulet: Green circle of metal on chain. 1x day, allows wearer to dodge (p. 91) one attack after it has hit, and negates all damage (assuming person was not knocked out or killed).

Life Protecter Amulet: White disk on a chain. Protects from losing constitution to undead.

Lifestealer: +20 Broad Sword, drains 3 constitution per round from all within 10 feet (wielder immune). Comes with scabbard that shields this effect.

Many Book: Book that 1x day can become a copy of any other book it touches. Lasts until changed.

Mummy Bandages: Any dead body wrapped in these bandages will become a lesser mummy. Will not obey maker unless appropriate spells are used.

Nuiscance Sword: +15 broadsword, casts Bladeturn I 3x day(p.108), each time it is used there is a 50% chance of it summoning a first pale demon at a random time of the day which will then attack the wielder.

Rune of Certain Death: When used caster is transported to Necrophia (see Maleskari, C+T 2).

The Scorpion: Large torture device (200 lbs). Provides +30 to interogation rolls.

Turtle Shell of Waterlungs: This small turtle shell, if worn over mouth casts Waterlungs (p.92) (constant)

Useless Magic Blade: +20, wielders target must resist vs. Level 10 or believe wielder is trying to kill him. Must hit with at least one attack before magic activates.
